What I Am Learning

I have signed up with Face book. I think it will be helpful to keep up with librarians and also friends. I hope that I will be able to help my patrons when they have questions about social networking sites. As a librarian I believe it is very important for me to be informed about the latest features of technology

    Ellen, I agree that knowing about online communities like Facebook can be helpful with patrons. You may be able to impress some of your teen patrons with your knowledge.

    I agree with Charlene it can be helpful to your patrons. I also have gotten a lot of good ideas from what other librarians have posted on Facebook. I was so excited to see you on Facebook. I think you'll enjoy it, especially since Mary and Rita are on there, too.
